I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. The entertainment capital of the world. There's no better place on the planet for everything LIGHTS, CAMERA and ACTION.  L.A.: Home of the Rich & Famous and the Poor & Unfortunate alike, and I'm no respecter of persons. I have nothing but respect for the place I call home.

Having easy access to a wide variety of cameras throughout my childhood made all the difference in my aptitude and comfortability with the medium. To go along with various 35mm and polaroid cameras, my arsenal even included an Elmo 8mm motion picture sound camera with projector, empty reels and splicer. So with all these cool toys sitting around, my curiosity led me to dive deeper into the art. Creating images before the digital revolution was such a "process". Back when you had to wait days and sometimes weeks before your film returned from the lab, only to see how many images on the roll were worthy of sharing. The others then became my personal teachers; pointing out improper framing, soft focus or misuse of a setting and the hundreds of useless under/ over exposed frames. Through it all, it was the rush of seeing images appear of some random fleeting moment, that would otherwise be lost, once again relived in a photo...just the way you remember it. That is what sparked my love for photography and helped open up opportunities for my future working in the industry here in my own backyard.
